5mm Photo Print Scanning

Preserve your printed photographs by converting them into convenient digital image files.

Gingerbread Productions uses a professional Epson Perfection V850 Pro scanner to digitize standard photo prints with excellent clarity and detail.

Standard pricing is $0.50 per print and includes scanning at 300 dpi. This resolution is well suited for everyday digital viewing, sharing, archiving, and standard print use while allowing us to process larger photo collections efficiently.

Higher-resolution scanning may be available by request and may require additional time and an additional charge.

Higher-Resolution Scanning

Requests for scans above the standard 300 dpi setting are considered premium or custom work.

Higher-resolution scans take substantially longer to process and create much larger files, so additional charges may apply depending on the requested resolution, quantity of photographs, and processing time.

USB Drive Required for Physical Delivery

USB media is a separate product charge and must be added to your order if you would like your digitized photographs delivered on a USB drive.

For security, compatibility, reliability, and quality-control purposes, Gingerbread Productions does not accept customer-supplied USB drives.

We provide our own name-brand USB media to help maintain a consistent workflow and reduce the risk of viruses, malware, damaged drives, compatibility issues, insufficient storage space, or file corruption.

USB drives are $10 each, with the appropriate capacity selected based on the size of your project.

Photo Condition & Additional Work

The standard scanning price assumes that photographs are reasonably clean, flat, and ready to scan.

Photographs requiring extensive cleaning, removal from albums or mounts, unusual handling, manual correction, sorting, labeling, cropping, restoration, or other additional preparation may incur an additional service charge.

Damaged or Contaminated Photographs

Gingerbread Productions reserves the right to decline photographs that are excessively damaged, moldy, contaminated, have a strong or unusual odor, or may pose a health, safety, or equipment risk.

Acceptance of photographs for initial inspection does not guarantee that every image can be successfully digitized.
